This episode of the Scenery originally aired on November the 25th and featured at first a lonesome Mateo, but was eventually joined by Frosty and the Dutchman.
The solo Mateo kicked off the substance of the show with a phone conversation with Chief executive of the Land Management Corporation, Wayne Gibbings. The topic of conversation was the redevelopment of the semi industrial suburb of Bowden, specifically the old Clipsal site on Park terrace.
Around the halfway mark, with impeccably good timing, Mateo was joined by Ryan ‘Frosty’ Winter and Luke Eygenraam. Earlier in the week Ryan had a chat with the Fuse Festival, Adelaide’s music industry conference, part of which is a showcase of bands picked by the Fuse to play out their wares in front of industry big wigs. Ryan chats about the purpose of the Fuse, some criticism of the festival and what lies ahead in 2012.
This week’s feature track is credited to Central Coast band Phobiac with the song Stevie Wonderful, a whimsical jamboree of carefree pop.
Arrivederci. Mateo, Luke and Ryan. and (….)
